A Brief Overview of “Squarespace” as Business Website Builder

With the many people raving about the benefits of using Squarespace as a business website builder, we decided to take a deeper look at the benefits of the technology whilst shedding some light on its drawbacks as well.
Overview:-
Squarespace was created in 2004; therefore, it is safe to say that it has been around to for some time. Luckily this is a good thing since it has received its fair share of tweaks and updates. Squarespace is an excellent business website builder that allows creating highly design oriented websites without ever having to write code. Currently, Squarespace is behind more than 1.8 million active websites. This number might seem lower than its other counterparts, but it should be noted that all website created by Squarespace are paid whereas others are free.
Pros of Squarespace:-
-          Squarespace offers you templates that are rich and beautifully crafted. The templates offered promote a sophisticated minimalist design that is appreciated by most leading businesses. Every project created using Squarespace looks as if the designer invested months working on it.
-          All Squarespace templates are responsive, which means that the content will be automatically resized on different screens.
Cons of Squarespace:-
-          The editing screen and the preview screen are different. It might not seem like a problem for the technically proficient, but for everyone else it leads to a somewhat confusing experience as what you see on your editing screen is not necessarily what’s on your preview screen. Squarespace have however solved this problem by eliminating the need to switch between screens.
-          The drag and drop functionality of Squarespace is not as smooth as other website builders.
